America graduates less than 8% of the engineers in the world If we don't design it here in America, what are the odds we will build it here? Who will design the solutions for energy, environment, health care, transportation, and the basic needs of the underdeveloped third world?

America has an impressive and effective program to create professional athletes.  Can the athletics model apply to developing the designers, engineers, and problems solvers of tomorrow?

A recent OPAS survey  found that hands on experiences are the primary motivation for students to pursue engineering and high tech careers.  eCHAMP is a seed program that offers matching grants to schools who want to develop sustainable extra curricular engineering, invention, innovation and design opportunities.
