High school students from around the state will compete in small teams to solve challenging problems, using only a single computer, their programming skills and their wits to succeed.
Over the course of five hours the teams will tackle a set of fourteen problems, ranging from novice level tasks up to challenging puzzles involving significant analysis and advanced data structures. Solutions will be scored for correctness and completeness, with bonus points awarded for harder problems and early submission. The top three teams and the best novice team will take home striking sports-style trophies to display at their schools.
The contest is co-sponsored by Willamette University and TechStart.
