TechStart recognizes a Student of the Year and two runners-up among high school juniors and seniors. This year, TechStart will present a student of the year award to both a young man and young woman high school student. Our student winner receives a $2,000 scholarship toward college tuition or related expenses. The award will be presented at Technology Association of Oregon’s Annual Tech Awards ceremony.
What technology teachers should consider when nominating a TechStart Student of the Year
The student should:
Make a sustained, positive impact in the classroom, school, and district
Demonstrate tech leadership and engagement beyond the classroom
