TechStart recognizes two Technology Students of the Year among high school juniors and seniors. This year, TechStart will present two student of the year awards to high school students. Each student winner receives a $2,000 scholarship toward college tuition or related expenses. The award will be presented at Technology Association of Oregon’s Annual Tech Awards ceremony.
What technology teachers should consider when nominating a TechStart Student of the Year
The student should:
Make a sustained, positive impact in the classroom, school, and district
Demonstrate tech leadership and engagement beyond the classroom
